We support the Communities, plan, develop  and then maintain  areas in a  way that improves biodiversity as well as creating a  community asset for generations to come

Kingswood Community Nature Area

Location: Court Road, BS15 9QG

This is a really exciting project to be involved with.   South Gloucestershire  County  Council has asked us to work with the community to develop the biodiversity of this local amenity land.   - A great project to be involved with

Pucklechurch Community Orchard and Nature Area

Location: Oaktree Avenue BS16 9SF

A uniquely shaped green space that has village green status,  bordering a lovely footpath amongst the trees. This site sits next to a residential area and industrial estate where wildlife would benefit from the additional support our nature space could provide.

Bromley Heath Community Orchard and Nature Area

Scantleberry Close, BS16 6DQ

This site is our most biodiverse so far, already home to an existing community orchard, adjacent to the spectacular Frome Valley Walkway along the River Frome. The location of this site makes it an exciting opportunity to support a huge variety of wildlife.

Frenchay Community Heritage Orchard

Adjacent to Frenchay Village Hall

This is a wonderful community Project that will see the installation of a Heritage orchard as well as the development of a rich biodiverse Habitat  - This project is being done to complement and add to the wonderful work already being done to increase habitats on Frenchay Common.

Work will start on this in the Autumn of 2024

Hanham Community Orchard and Wellbeing Area

Behind the  Hanham Health Surgery

This space is being developed in collaboration with Southern Brooks and is part of our Nature Health and Wellbeing Network -  It will be a community location that will also be a place for community members to become engaged in a way that offers improved wellbeing oppoturnities

Blackhorse Community Heritage Orchard

Blackhorse rd, Emersons Green, Opposite Blackhorse Primary School

Develping and expanding an existing community orchard. This site is well situated opposite the local primary school.  This area will be managed in a way that will turn this area into a more diverse habitat to encourage butterflies and lots of wonderful wildlife
