Reconnect, Reset and Re-energise: Join Our Guided Wellbeing Walks in Frenchay

Taking time for yourself isn’t selfish—it’s essential. And what better way to look after your mental and physical wellbeing than by joining a small, welcoming group for a gentle walk in nature, led by someone who truly understands the importance of holistic care?

Our Walking & Wellbeing Programme offers a calm and supportive space to move your body, calm your mind, and connect with others, all while surrounded by the beauty of nature in Frenchay.

🌿 What are the guided wellbeing walks in Frenchay all about?

Held over six weeks (with no pressure to attend every session), these guided walks run every Monday from 10am to 12 noon, starting at the Quaker Meeting House, BS16 1NT. Each session is led by Violeta from A Touch of Wellness, a highly experienced wellbeing practitioner with a background in complementary health and emotional support work across Australia and the UK.

Whether you’re looking to manage stress, feel less isolated, or simply add a healthy new habit to your routine, this programme is designed with you in mind.

🌱 Why walk with us?

  • Expert guidance: Violeta brings a warm and compassionate approach to each walk. With years of experience supporting people’s physical and emotional health in hospitals, hospices, schools, and the community, she knows how to create a safe space for everyone.

  • Move at your own pace: The walks are adapted to suit most abilities and there’s absolutely no pressure to keep up or commit every week.

  • Feel better, together: Nature has a powerful effect on our wellbeing—and so does connection. Meeting like-minded people in a relaxed environment helps ease loneliness and boosts your mood naturally.
