Marsh Lane Community Nature Area 

We are supporting Eckington Town Council and local community members in  creating a community nature area at Marsh Lane in Eckington  

​

The project started in  February 2022 

 

The aim of this community project is to create an area of enriched biodiversity which also benefits the community as an outside space that will be visited and enjoyed by  people of all ages. The community is currently involved in developing the area.

    The group is for beginners and experienced gardener's! The sessions give an introduction to growing food and flowers for those who have never garden before. The group is friendly and supportive and we always sit down for a cuppa and a knatter :)

    Join the Hanham Community Gardening group in the garden behind Hanham Health! Join for weekly sessions of maintenance work, plating, pruning and more! This is a great way to meet new people, get out in nature and do somthing good for the community.

    A 16-week, nature-based therapeutic programme for 12 South Gloucestershire families whose children (aged 4–13) experience: Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA), Are out of school, EHE, flexi-schooled or NEET. These sessions are for South Gloucestershire residents only as this is a SG funded.
