Suzanne is a highly qualified mindfulness teacher dedicated to helping individuals understand and manage cognitive complexities. Her teaching is underpinned by formal academic training and nearly two decades of personal practice.

Formal Training & Accreditation

  • Postgraduate Diploma: Completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Psychological Therapies (Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapies and Approaches) at Exeter University, UK (2020, with merit).

  • Teaching Authority: Qualified to teach both the industry-standard Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) courses.

  • Professional Registration: Registered with BAMBA (British Association for Mindfulness-based Approaches), ensuring her work adheres to ethical guidelines, regular supervision, and ongoing professional training.

Corporate & Community Engagement

  • International Administration: Worked for the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO) for over a decade in various administrative posts, providing a strong understanding of large, international organisations.

  • Adult Education Specialist: Transitioned to teaching adults, focusing on English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and English Functional Skills before specialising in Mindfulness.

  • Current Work: Delivers mindfulness workshops and courses for local organisations in the South West and works with community groups, including a collaboration with the Mindful Parenting & Community Project.
