School children will be the guardians of the fruit trees that we are planting for them and the fruit will be looked after and tended by children and parents, providing fresh fruit directly from the trees. We are creating raised beds and planting gooseberry and blackberry bushes to finish off our work there. The children will grow the seeds for lots of wonderful fresh veg, herbs and plants, whilst learning about how home grown food reduces packaging and is so much more healthy and helps the planet.
